Our Corka Bubs is the first ever Aboriginal contemporary dance work choreographed specifically for babies under 2 years and their carers. It is captivating storytelling for all ages through movement and music.
Made by renowned South Australian Aboriginal choreographer Gina Rings, you and a small audience of babies are transfixed through movement and play that draws strongly from aspects of Australian Aboriginal culture.
Our Corka Bubs is grounded in theories of early childhood development and Aboriginal storytelling. The performance uses gentle motifs and gestural dance along with traditional live and recorded sounds. This mixture creates a gently interactive and transformative work paying attention to a baby’s need to both explore and to feel secure.
Let them dance before they can crawl!

Live From CH9 Tandanya 2017
AJZ Productions in partnership with the awesome team at Channel 9 produced Live from 9 in 2014 and 2015 Fringe Festival. After the closure of the Channel 9 Studios in North Adelaide ‘Live from 9’ moved and became ‘Live from Tandanya’ which included a wonderful collaboration with the crew at Tandanya for the 2016 Fringe Festival.
Over the years the Live from 9 and Live from Tandanya fringe venue has hosted many sell out and award winning shows. As creators of original work AJZ Productions pride themselves on producing a professional multi-disciplinary fringe venue for artists performing at the festival. As a venue our prime focus is on the artists and the audience and as such we ensure that artists performing in our venue are fully supported and offered every opportunity for a successful season which includes offering exceptional service to every punter entering the space.
The partnership and collaboration with Channel 9 continues and in 2017 Live from Tandanya will offer two venues over the five weeks and present 29 company performances from a variety of genres. These include theatre, dance, circus, music and comedy.
Live from Tandanya is one of the few fringe venues that offers a black box style theatre space during the Fringe Festival. It is air conditioned and has two performance spaces. The Tandanya Arts Café is a 60 seat purpose built intimate performance space and Tandanya Theatre is a 160 seat fully equipped theatre space.
Situated in the amazing Tandanya building in the east end hub ‘Live from Tandanya’ has a gallery bar offering groovy tunes from Fresh 92.7 and serves without question the best Sangria of the Adelaide Fringe.
